Hi, I want to get a V input into an Arduino from a VEGA BAR14 pressure sensor which outputs mA. Yes I know I can convert to V. Texas Instruments RCV Linear – Amplifiers – Instrumentation, OP Amps, Buffer Amps parts available at DigiKey. You can make a single-supply current loop receiver with the RCV by using its 10V reference as a pseudo ground. The RCV will convert a mA loop.

Thanks for the additional information. Ah well I’m getting nowhere I’ll just bin it. I cannot say for sure without knowing your desired output voltage range, but I suspect that this may be problematic.

Please help me if I am using it correctly or what rcb420 do I need to make in order to null the offset and get 0 to 5 V corresponding to 4 to 20 mA Thanking you in anticipation. Best regards, Ian Williams. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Jan 12, The model uses an ideal op amp so you’ll be able to achieve output voltages and currents that are unachievable with the op amp inside the RCV Then mentions you’re measuring the input impedance using an Ohmmeter and you received a result in Volts?
